KUALA LUMPUR: Singer and actress Ifa Raziah will be organising a star-studded Ramadan festival where entrepreneurial celebrities sell their latest products and meet and greet fans.
Ifa's festival from March 29 to April 1 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is the Starvendors Mega Raya Festival, but one participating celebrity is making netizens see red.
She is none other than actress Ruhainies Zainul Ilyas, 32, who was recently nabbed for committing khalwat with Singaporean singer and actor Aliff Aziz, but subsequently released on bail.
"Ruhainies will be part of Starvendors this March 29 to April 1, only at the KL Convention Centre," said Ifa in an Instagram post recently.
However, many Netizens slammed Ifa for inviting a "home-wrecker" and "adulteress" to her festival and vowed to boycott it.
"Why is that home-wrecker and adulteress here in the first place? We must boycott this festival!" said one Netizen.
"Yes, boycott Starvendors. Say no to maksiat (immorality)," said another.
However, not all Netizens chose to boycott Starvendors.
One of them Salmah said: "We should not victimise Ifa for what Ruhainies did. Ifa is promoting celebrities' products. If you guys do not want to meet and greet Ruhainies, just leave her alone and mingle with the other celebrities."
