KUALA LUMPUR: Didi Astillah, the younger sister of Sabahan singer-actress Bella Astillah, has strongly denied rumours that she was once in a relationship with her Singaporean brother-in-law, singer-actor Aliff Aziz.
Didi, 27, said in a report by Harian Metro yesterday that "certain irresponsible individuals" had been spreading lies about her on social media of late.
In an Instagram Story post, Didi or Dayang Nazilah Awang Astillah said that rumours about her spending the night with her brother-in-law in a hotel in the federal capital were "rubbish".
"This is nonsense. How dare they say this about me?" said Didi, adding that the rumour recently appeared on Facebook.
Last month, Bella claimed that Aliff had had affairs with 11 women including her sister Eriqa Astillah.
Bella and Aliff are currently undergoing divorce proceedings at the Federal Territories Syariah Court, following his arrest for khalwat with actress Ruhainies Zainul Ilyas last March 8.
