LEGENDARY Bollywood singer Udit Narayan, known as the King of Melodies will be serenading fans in Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur on Dec 28.
His 7.30pm concert, brought by VVST Digital Creation, will transport Hindi music lovers back to the golden era of Bollywood films and music, from the 1990s up to today.
Udit, who has performed over 25,000 songs in 36 languages throughout his three-decade career, is known as the voice behind the 3 Kings of Bollywood — Datuk Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, as well as other renowned actors.
His iconic song Papa Kehte Hain from the film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak catapulted him to fame and sparked an extraordinary music phenomenon in the Bollywood film industry.
12 YEARS
This will be Udit's first performance in KL in 12 years, his last being at a private event in a well-known hotel.
He is set to perform a collection of 30 hit songs that have dominated Bollywood music charts.
In a brief video today, Udit said: "Having previously held concerts in Dubai and Europe, I am very excited to return to Malaysia and reconnect with my wonderful fans.
"See you on Dec 28 and have a great time!"
The organisers have promised attendees that they will be treated to a spectacular experience to end 2024 and create lasting memories for 2025.
To further engage fans, they will also shortlist some of Udit's song selections through upcoming campaigns and contests.
