KUALA LUMPUR: Hot off the heels of their much-publicised divorce yesterday, popular artistes Fattah Amin and Nur Fazura will be releasing a song soon.
Indonesian record label Hits Records posted on Instagram yesterday that the two celebrities would be coming up with their new single, titled Bertahan Demi Cinta (holding on for love), this Thursday.
The caption to the post read: "#BertahanDemiCinta by @missfazura & @fattahaminz will be quickly released. Coming soon. 10.10.2024."
The entry, accompanied by a short clip featuring a couple of pictures of the two Malaysian stars, garnered many puzzled responses from netizens in the comments section.
"Seriously, there's a song?", wrote one netizen, while another said, "Usually married artistes who sing a song together never last, so better not to do it."
Yet another commenter wrote: "Such a late release. They've already split."
But some also offered words of encouragement for the two celebrities.
"May each of you find your soulmates in good time," wrote one netizen.
Fattah and Fazura were divorced at the Petalilng Syariah Lower Court in Subang Bestari, Shah Alam yesterday after seven years of marriage.
They got married on Nov 27, 2017 and have a 4-year-old daughter Nur Fatima Aisya.
