KUALA LUMPUR: The highly anticipated Malaysian leg of Can Machines Fall In Love? The Album Tour by Indonesian band Maliq & D'Essentials, originally scheduled for Dec 29 at Megastar Arena Kuala Lumpur, has been postponed.
In an official statement, the band expressed their regret over the rescheduling, citing unforeseen circumstances as the reason behind the decision.
They assured fans that efforts are being made to finalise a new date.
"With great humility and empathy, we announce that our upcoming show in your city must be rescheduled. "This was not an easy decision, but rest assured, we are committed to delivering the best experience possible," the statement read.
The band, known for their soulful music and dynamic performances, emphasised their gratitude toward fans, saying: "Every ticket purchased and every plan made means so much to us. This is not the end, just a pause. We promise to return with a performance worthy of your patience and support."
For ticket holders, Maliq & D'Essentials assured that all tickets will remain valid for the new concert date. Refunds will be made available for those unable to attend the rescheduled event, with further details to be shared soon.
The organiser, Kharisma Music, echoed the band's sentiments, stating that a new date will be announced in due course.
This concert marks a milestone for Maliq & D'Essentials as part of a two-country tour promoting their ninth studio album, Can Machines Fall In Love?, released in May.
The tour celebrates their 22-year journey in the music industry, showcasing hits and new material.
Formed in 2002, the band consists of Angga Puradiredja, Indah Wisnuwardhana, Widi Puradiredja, Jawa, Lale, and Ilman Ibrahim.
