GEORGE TOWN: The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Niosh) is building two hangars at its campuses to upgrade their safety and health trainings.
Its chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said the hangars will be built in the Bangi and Johor Baru campuses.
"We are spending RM2 million to build both the hangars as part of our role to improve the occupation safety and health (OSH) trainings.
"The hangars will be useful for trainers to conduct OSH trainings because failure to adopt and implement safety rules and procedures will be detrimental to those at workplace," he told reporters at the Equatorial Hotel, here today.
Lee said NIOSH trainers are working tirelessly to formulate better safety and health policies to implement OSH at work place and to achieve "zero accident" at workplace.
