PUTRAJAYA: The magistrate's court here today has set Oct 11 for mention of a case involving a former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officer charged with cheating.
Magistrate Nik Isfahanie Tasnim Wan Ab. Rahman set the date after the prosecution informed the court that the case was set for mention today for Ramlan Amir Man to appoint a lawyer, but the lawyer was not present.
Ramlan then told the court that he was in the process of doing so, and had contacted a lawyer for the purpose, but the lawyer wanted to meet him first before agreeing to represent him.
