KUALA LUMPUR: Former Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) news presenter George Abraham died of old age yesterday morning.
RTM reported that 76 year-old Abraham, who was a prominent newscaster during the 70s and 80s, leaves two children and a grandchild.
His funeral is expected to be held this Saturday at the Tamil Methodist Church, Brickfields.
Abraham first served as a radio deejay for RTM’s Radio 4 and Traxx Fm. He then moved to the news department and became a producer and presenter for the English news.
