Canadian musician and YouTube star Daniela Andrade leaps onto the Msian stage

DANIELA Andrade is a singer-songwriter based in Toronto and Montreal, Canada. Known for her stripped-down acoustic covers and originals on YouTube, her music and videos have accumulated over 300 million streams/plays, leading to a worldwide following of over one million YouTube subscribers and songs featured on TV shows such as Suits and Supergirl.

Daniela’s soft but powerful voice has been compared to Norah Jones. Drawing influence from folk, R&B and a background in Gospel, her pure sound has caught the attention of millions of people.

Some notable songs covered by Daniela include a raw acoustic performance of Radiohead’s Creep, which has garnered over 10 million views on YouTube. A stripped down rendition of Gnarls Barkley’s Crazy has over seven million YouTube views.

Shore is Daniela’s biggest project yet. The Visual EP, released in mid-2016, combines four original songs and music videos to create a short film. Spanning across Morocco, Cuba and Canada, the film fuses beauty and symbolism in a story about falling out of love despite the best of intentions.

Daniela has managed to create a remarkable buzz by embracing the Internet and social media to build and connect directly to her fan base. She has been able to do so while staying completely independent.

Daniela will be performing in the Klang Valley on Oct 19. Music lovers will surely swoon over her smooth-as-butter vocals and delightful persona.
