PETALING JAYA: Three policemen were among six people arrested for criminal breach of trust, allegedly linked to the disappearance of jet fuel from the Police Air Wing Peninsular Base.
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said a police report was lodged on Monday after the kerosene-type Jet A-1 fuel went missing.
"The Selangor Commercial Crime Investigation Department immediately started an investigation under Section 409 of the Penal Code for criminal breach of trust.
"A day later, a series of raids were conducted which led to the arrest of six men aged between 31 and 55," he said in a statement today.
He said three of the six arrested were rank-and-file police personnel attached with the Air Wing Base.
"The six men have been remanded for between two and seven days to help with further investigations.
"We will not compromise and will take strict action against anyone who breaks the law including police personnel," he said.
