SEPANG: Police have obtained a two-day remand order against the teenager who impersonated a staff at the Sultan Idris Shah Hospital.
Magistrate Muhammad Bukhori Md Ruslan granted the police to remand the 14-year-old teenager from today until tomorrow to facilitate the investigation into the case.
The teenager is being investigated under Section 448 and Section 170 of the Penal Code for trespassing and impersonating a public servant.
Earlier, the suspect, clad in the orange lock-up attire, arrived at the magistrate's court here at 8.40am.
There were however no signs of her parents at the compound of the court complex.
Police yesterday confirmed that a teenager has been arrested for allegedly posing as a staff at the hospital.
Sepang police chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof said the suspect had been posing as a staff member at the hospital for about a week.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry said preliminary investigation showed that the teen had used a fake identification card to carry out her impersonation as a staff at the hospital.
