KLANG: Singer and YouTuber Muhammad Nidza Afham whose body was found a day after he reported missing was spotted on several closed-circuit television camera recordings near the Klang area.
In one of the clips, Nidza, who was reported missing after he went jogging at Sultan Suleiman Stadium, was seen walking towards a traffic light.
It was reported that the Fire and Rescue Department the body of a man near the Sungai Klang bridge.
The department's assistant director of operations Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the man was wearing dark-coloured clothing with the number 56 printed on it.
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan later confirmed that the body was believed to be that of Nidza Afnam.
It is learned that Nidza's brother-in-law launched a search party of his own to try and locate him, and that's how he managed to get some of the CCTV recordings Nidza was seen in.
Nidza's sister Aufahanie, who is also a singer, had said that the family would not know about his disappearance if it was not because of her brother's girlfriend.
"If Hazmiera did not contact us, we wouldn't have known...he was missing," he said.
Aufahanie said the location sharing app installed on Nidza's phone gave his girlfriend full access to his whereabouts.
"That is how the family also managed to find his handphone and wallet, based on the data provided by the tracking application," she said.
