ISKANDAR PUTERI: Police arrested four suspects, including two women, just five hours after a house break-in was reported in Tanjung Kupang, here, on Sept 30.
District police chief Assistant commissioner M. Kumarasan said the break-in report was placed on Sept 30 at 10.12pm, and by 3.15am, the four suspects were arrested after police stormed into a premises in the same housing estate.
He said the three of the four, aged between 43 and 50, had drug-related criminal records. Both men tested for positive for drugs.
Police also recovered several of the suspected stolen items including two mobile phones, a wristwatch, a laptop, a printer, a gold bracelet, a TV projector, a pair of sports shoes, two motorcycle helmets, two Bluetooth speakers, an Internet router, a motorcycle key, and various health products.
The case is investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code for house-breaking.
