KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah once again shows why he is the King of our hearts when he got down from his official car twice to check on victims in two separate accidents.
The matter was shared via two videos and two photos on Instagram @istana_negara at 11 this morning.
It was understood that His Majesty was on his way back from Pre-Cabinet Meeting with Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad in Putrajaya before his entourage came upon the two accidents.
In the first video, His Majesty was seen alighting from his vehicle to check on the victims in the accident in Cyberjaya involving a Toyota Vios. The car was believed to have skidded due to slippery road.
Followed closely by his palace officials, His Majesty was seen crossing over the metal road divider to go to the opposite lane to meet the victims.
In the second video, he got off his vehicle to check on another accident near the MEX Toll Plaza in Cyberjaya involving a Honda City which was believed to have skidded as well due to slippery road.
In the caption, His Majesty also reminded motorists to be careful when it’s raining to avoid accident.
This isn’t the first time that the King helped accident victims.
On June 26, the King stopped his entourage to extend a helping hand to an accident victim in Putrajaya.
Then on Aug 5, His Majesty once again put protocol aside when he helped an accident victim in Jalan Susur near Istana Negara.
