Assistant of MP reprimanded over short skirt in parliament

KUALA LUMPUR: A woman, believed to be an assistant to a member of parliament from Sarawak, was reprimanded for not complying with the Parliament Dress Code of Ethics guidelines.

It is learnt that it was her first time attending the parliament.

The woman was reprimanded for wearing a short skirt with a split, revealing her left thigh.

She was reprimanded by a man, believed to be the head security of Parliament, and was asked to leave the premises for wearing inappropriate attire.

The woman was then told to change her skirt if she wanted to remain in parliament.
