KUALA LUMPUR: Four Malaysians have struck it big with Magnum 4D, sharing a total jackpot of RM30 million.
A winner from Kuching, Sarawak, who claimed RM7.4 million in late July, said the inspiration came from a phone number.
"My cousins and I decided to try our luck with numbers that felt special during a recent gathering," the winner shared.
"We pooled our money and used the System Play-6 method. When we found out our chosen numbers, 9958 and 7448, hit the top three prizes, the whole house erupted in excitement. Now, we can finally take our long-dreamed family vacation to Japan!"
In Durian Tunggal, Melaka, another winner took a chance with a RM10 lucky pick ticket, which she shared with her sisters. Their ticket secured them the Magnum Life grand prize—RM1,000 a day for the next 20 years, totalling RM7.3 million.
"We were just trying our luck," the winner said.
"It's amazing how something so small can turn into something life-changing. We haven't even figured out how to spend this incredible prize yet!"
A winner from Kluang, Johor, spent just RM2 on a lucky pick ticket and won the same Magnum Life grand prize.
"My children are still young, and I've always worried about their future. Now, I can sleep peacefully knowing our future is secure, and I can provide my family with a better life," the winner said.
Meanwhile, a Magnum 4D Jackpot winner from Taman Megah, Selangor, took home over RM7.6 million.
"I never imagined I'd become a millionaire overnight," he said.
"As a pet lover, I'm now able to fulfil my lifelong dream of building a shelter for stray dogs and cats. I'm so grateful for this incredible blessing."
