ALOR STAR: Kota Setar and Pokok Sena have fully recovered from the floods after all evacuees were allowed to return home this afternoon.
The Kedah Disaster Management Committee Secretariat said all the remaining eight flood evacuation centres in the two districts have been deactivated after all the 437 evacuees returned to their respective homes this afternoon.
As of 4pm today, the committee reported only 746 people from 208 families are still sheltering at 10 temporary flood relief centres in Pendang.
