BATU KAWAN: The Karnival Jom Heboh (KJH) 2024 attracted thousands of visitors as it entered its second day today, with many flocking to the various booths, including the popular Pet Zootopia by The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Berhad (NSTP).
Among the visitors was popular singer Wany Hasrita, who praised the Pet Zootopia as a great place for families to introduce their children to different animals.
"It's wonderful to see families bringing their kids here. I hope more parents will take this opportunity. My personal favourite is the Burung Kakak Tua," she said.
Wany, who is also a nominee for Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian (ABPBH), took the chance to wish her fellow candidates well. "We're all here to have fun and enjoy ourselves. It's truly 'sempoi'," she said with a smile.
Other ABPBH nominees, including Didie Alias and The Gadys, were also seen mingling with fans, adding to the lively atmosphere.
Two 17-year-old friends, Nur Ayuni Maisarah Zulkifli and Ainul Najihah Abdul Rahim, were ecstatic after meeting and taking photos with Wany.
"We've always wanted to come to KJH but never had the chance. Meeting Wany was beyond our wildest dreams," Nur Ayuni said, beaming with excitement.
They travelled from Perlis with Ainul Najihah's parents specifically for the event, and were thrilled to finally experience it in person after only hearing about it in the news before.
Nadiah Ismail, 36, who works as a quality controller, last attended KJH before the Covid-19 pandemic.
Impressed by the array of activities this year, she said: "There's something for everyone. It's not just fun for the kids but informative too, with various booths providing valuable information."
The KJH 2024 continues to bring joy and entertainment to visitors of all ages, offering a memorable weekend experience for families and friends.
