The man, who driving a Perodua Bezza, was killed on the spot while his passenger and a motorcyclist, 31, were severely injured in the 7.10pm accident.

District police chief Superintendent Yusof Othman said the Bezza driver, who was heading from Johor Baru to Bandar Penawar, swerved into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a lorry.

The impact of the accident caused the lorry driver to lose control of his vehicle, which veered into the opposite lane and grazed a Perodua Alza driven by a 58-year-old man.

The Perodua Bezza then spun around and struck a motorcyclist trailing behind the lorry.
