KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) yesterday demolished illegal structures at seven premises on Jalan Setiawangsa 10, Taman Setiawangsa here.
In the integrated operation involving several agencies, including the police and the Fire and Rescue Department, DBKL removed additional structures from five premises that were blocking pedestrian walkways behind the buildings.
The operation, which also included Tenaga Nasional Bhd and Air Selangor, saw the team dismantling unapproved structures at two other premises as well.
"Two stalls built on the rear lanes at the location were also completely removed," DBKL said in a posting on its Facebook.
It added that all structural debris was disposed of by DBKL after the operation concluded.
