KOTA TINGGI: A car crashed into a clothing store after it was involved in an accident with a four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle near Jalan Niaga Utama/Jalan Yusof here yesterday.
District police chief Superintendent Yusof Othman said no injuries were reported in the 7.55pm incident.
He said preliminary investigations revealed the accident occurred when the 4WD vehicle rammed into the side of the car.
This caused the car's driver to lose control of the vehicle before it slammed into the store.

"The shop's customers and staff were also not injured," he said in a statement today.
It is learned that the 4WD vehicle also struck the front of the shop during the crash, he said.
Yusof added that the case is still under investigation under Rule 3(2)(b) LN 166/59 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959 for negligence when entering or exiting a junction, resulting in a road accident.
He also advised the public to remain vigilant and adhere to traffic laws and regulations to ensure road safety for everyone.
