KUALA LUMPUR: The Road Transport Department (RTD) and Education Ministry booths at the Madani government's second-anniversary event are bustling with people queuing to take advantage of the services available.
Even unity government spokesman Fahmi Fadzil admitted that these two booths are the most popular at the three-day event, which started yesterday.
The RTD booth was swarmed with people for the helmet exchange programme, while attendees took the opportunity to reprint their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination certificates at the Education Ministry's booth.
"Based on initial feedback we've received, some of the busiest and most popular counters are the helmet exchange and SPM certificate reprinting services.
"After this, I will also visit the booth to reprint my SPM certificate as a memento," the Communications Minister said after visiting the media lounge here today.
Meanwhile, Fahmi said each ministry booth has its own focus, whether providing information or services related to the respective ministry.
For the Communications Ministry, Fahmi added that all five major telecommunications companies have set up booths in Halls 1 and 2.
"They (telecommunications companies) are offering special packages, including discounted device prices and attractive data plans.
"So, I encourage everyone to visit and stop by Halls 1 and 2 to take advantage of the exciting offers and internet packages available," he said.
Themed "Madani di Hati, Rakyat Disantuni", the programme will run from 9am to 6pm, offering a variety of services from ministries, agencies and government departments to the public.
In addition to service exhibitions by participating ministries, the event will feature various activities and attractive offers, including entrepreneur booths and the Madani Rahmah Sale.
