KUALA LUMPUR: Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi today expressed sympathy to Tan Sri Annuar Musa, over his 'beloved inheritance house' being destroyed in a fire.
"I sympathise with Annuar Musa. He dreamt that his house was on fire and had to get out to save himself.
"Apparently it was just a dream. The house didn't burn down.
"However, I would like to remind him that a house was on fire as the modification was not made according to the specifications.
"(But) there are also people who deliberately set their own house on fire because they want to make more money.
"The person bought expensive insurance because he was greedy, but in the end, his evil intentions were revealed.
"If a house is on fire, we should extinguish it with water, not petrol.
"Fortunately, he managed to be pulled out from the flames. So, go and seek shelter at another house, which is expensive, at RM600 billion," he said.
Earlier today, Annuar in a Facebook post hinted he was no longer with Umno, saying that he dreamt about seeing his beloved inheritance house destroyed in a fire.
He said he had dreamt that his house was on fire, believed to have been caused by a short circuit or a disconnected wire, and many had fled the property.
"I love the house. I tried to extinguish the flames. When the fire was raging, many ran away, and suddenly I was pulled out from the flames.
"Now I can only watch the fire from outside the house. Although I love the house very much, I can only pray to God and ask for help that the house is saved," he wrote.
