KUALA LUMPUR: Actress and director Ellie Suriaty Omar, 53, is in no hurry to find Mr Right as she believes the process takes "time and understanding".
She said in an interview with Harian Metro yesterday that her "new man" had to understand that her priorities in life were her children and career.
"My children and my work always come first. If I were to meet him again he must be a person who fully understands this," said Ellie.
Ellie also said that she was a "home bound" person who seldom went to events unless they were work-related.
Ellie is currently helping her former husband, actor Azri Iskandar prepare for his coming wedding with Datuk Noora Kay.
Ellie and Azri were divorced on May 17 last year after a 19-year marriage which was blessed with two children Azrell Omar, 19 and Nur Azreen, 15.
Azri also has three children Muhammad Afiq Iskandar, 32, Farah Qistana, 30 and Nur Anis Mastura, 28 from his first marriage.
