TICKETS for the country's "Malay Mandopop King" Firdhaus Farmizi's Hello Again 2024 Malaysia concert scheduled for Aug 31 have been sold out within 30 minutes.
Firdhaus revealed in an Instagram post yesterday that the concert tickets went on sale last Wednesday and "sold like hot cakes".
Firdhaus' concert will be held at the Arena Of Stars in Genting Highlands at 8.30pm on National Day as part of his on-going Firdhaus Asia Tour.
An extra show on Sept 1 has been added to the tour, and these tickets priced between RM69 and RM569, were sold out in 20 minutes.
Firdhaus rocketed to fame with Gulf Of Alaska which went viral on social media with 600 million views on video-sharing platform Douyin in 2020.
His other song, Divorce In Ghana, released in the same year has accumulated 10 million views on YouTube.
The 24-year-old singer from Kulai, Johor is fluent in Mandarin due to having received his education at Chinese schools.
"There had been requests for me to record a Malay version of my first single. God-willing, should an opportunity arise, that's what I'll do," he said in an interview back then.
