KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Nourul Depp was perplexed when she found out that there had been rumours about her divorce with husband Eric Daniel Depp.
In an Instagram post she shared earlier today, the 47-year-old Penang-born artiste shared a screenshot of a message she received from her Facebook follower, asking about her marriage status.
"Oh God! Where have these rumours come from?
"Please don't read ridiculous news from blogs or any other unrealistic and unreliable sources," she explained in the comment section of the post.
Nourul added that she would not forgive people who had been creating such slanderous statements on the internet.
"I don't disturb people, but why must certain people like to disturb me by creating such lies?
"It's a sin which cannot be absolved until the person forgives you. What I don't understand is that these people they all seem to be holier-than-thou types, and yet, they still like to read about gossip and start talking about it, which can lead to slander!" she said.
Nourul was married to singer-composer Ajai for 10 years, but they divorced in 2006. They had a daughter named Ayu Nazirah, 26.
In 2012, she married Depp, a Frenchman, and they have three children, namely Zachary, 11; Rapael, nine; and Isabella, five.
