KOTA KINABALU: Police recovered nearly seven kilogrammes of ganja following the arrest of a man on his arrival from Kuala Lumpur here.
The 21-year-old was apprehended at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport on Sept 4.
State Narcotics Crime Investigations department superintendent Mohamed Fadzil Rahman said the arrest and seizure followed information received from the public.
"Seven packets containing suspected ganja were recovered from the suspect," he said, adding that investigations will continue under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
