Nur Farah Kartini to be buried in Pekan instead of Miri, says her brother

SUNGAI BULOH: The body of 25-year-old Sarawakian Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah will be buried in Pekan, Pahang.

Her brother, Mohd Farriza Azmi, 28, when contacted, confirmed the matter.

Farriza, however, said that other details, such as the time the family will claim the victim's body and the exact location of the cemetery, will be provided later.

Meanwhile, members of the media have started gathering outside the Sungai Buloh Hospital forensic department, where a post-mortem was conducted on the body of Nur Farah Kartini, as early as 7.15am today.

Previously, Nur Farah Kartini was reported missing on July 11 after she failed to return home from delivering a rental car to a customer at Taman Universiti, Tanjung Malim.

She was last seen on July 10 wearing her workplace's corporate attire and getting into a red car.

On Monday (July 15), the police lance corporal, who was arrested to facilitate investigation into the murder, led police to the location where the victim's body was found in an oil palm plantation at Kampung Sri Kledang, not far from Felda Gedangsa, Hulu Selangor, at 6pm.

The suspect has been remanded for seven days to assist murder investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
