PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has completed recording the statements from FashionValet Sdn Bhd's founders, Datin Vivy Yusof and her husband, Datuk Fadzaruddin Shah Anuar.
The couple spent the last several days at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya giving their statements in connection with the RM43.9 million loss suffered by Khazanah Nasional Bhd (Khazanah) and Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) from their investments in the fashion e-commerce platform.
The couple's testimony concluded after about five hours of questioning today. Their vehicle was seen leaving the MACC headquarters at 1.58pm. They were accompanied by their lawyer, Shaarvin Raaj Selva Kumar.
The couple arrived at the MACC office at 9.14am to provide their statement. This marks the fourth day of testimony, following the discovery of several suspicious transactions during MACC's investigation into the case.
MACC officials had previously indicated that the transactions in question, which involved a company linked to the couple, took place between 2018 and last year.
As part of the ongoing investigation, MACC also froze several of the couple's personal and company bank accounts, amounting to approximately RM1.1 million, under Operation Favish on Nov 6. - BERNAMA
