KUALA LUMPUR: The police have solved the mystery of a "riderless" motorcycle on Federal Highway, seen in a video that recently went viral.
In a statement, Petaling Jaya District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Shahrulnizam Jaafar said initial investigations revealed that the incident was from an accident involving two motorcycles on the motorcycle lane of the Federal Highway, heading towards Shah Alam.
"The motorcyclist involved fell off the bike during the collision, causing the motorcycle to veer onto the main highway.
"The dashcam of a passing vehicle captured the incident."
He said the police urge anyone who witnessed or was present at the scene of the accident to come forward and make a report to the nearest police station or contact the investigating officer, Inspector Mohd Hafeez Faesal A Aziz at 011-32311232 to assist with the investigation.
