IPOH: A section of the North-South Expressway (northbound) remains open to all motorists despite KM311.8 of the stretch near Tapah being inundated with floodwater following heavy rain today.
Plus Traffic on its Twitter account said the left lane of the affected stretch was reopened at 7.42pm after being closed for almost an hour due to floodwater.
It is learnt that the water gushed down from a hillside, resulting in the stretch being flooded during the 6.45pm incident.
No untoward incident was reported at that time.
Plus also advised road users to plan their journey and obey instructions of the highway personnel and traffic signs.
According to the tweet, the floodwater finally subsided as of 7.52pm today.
